I forgot to update the copyright date in the credits for Wake Up, KHS every year, but 2006 was probably the most egregious.
World Cup 2010 Controversy
Eager to cover the controversy from a recent Germany vs. England World Cup game on no budget, Garrett Alarcon takes a few liberties with his reporting. Part of KHS-TV Summer season two (2010).
Wake Up, KHS: 2008 Bridge Program
In which I try rewriting the show format with no rehearsal on my last day as executive producer.
KHS-TV ON STRIKE!
In recognition of the ongoing 2006-2007 Writers Guild of America strike, I spearheaded KHS-TV going on a "strike" of its own. To my surprise, the school administration was fully on-board, and even extended homeroom slightly when I couldn't get the show short enough. This is the only morning show I can remember us pre-taping during my time there.
Controversy Around the Pledge of Allegiance in Spanish
Kingston High School Television found itself on the front page of the newspaper after translating the Pledge of Allegiance to Spanish in honor of Spanish Heritage Week. Letters to the Editor are included to represent the opposing view, as all against the idea declined to appear on camera.

Introducing Kingston High School to Red Hook High
Not a segment I worked on, but an interesting artifact nonetheless: the video piece Andrew Champagne and Elinora Owen-Fardig showed at Red Hook High School the day we partially swapped crews.
The Wake Up, KHS/RHBC Crossover: June 9, 2006
After a chaotic pre-show, this crossover show produced and anchored by Red Hook Broadcasting Company quickly devolved into a train wreck due to persistent microphone level issues on our side. From what I hear, the Red Hook show anchored by KHS-TV staff went off uneventfully.
Robot Weather with Luke Bahl
I have no idea how this came about anymore other than the vague recollection that Will Facompré had something to do with it.
